I need some help with an assignment. I'm pretty stuck and I didn't have time to finish it last time I worked on it in class but now my deadline is coming closer and I would love to have this done. Anyone willing to help me realize how this should look would be my savior. I've never done this before so help would be amazing!
I've been working on this for a while and I thought I had it down but my teacher told me that I had been doing it the wrong way and that I should make a list for the months and a list that holds the amount from each month. Please help!

So the assignment is:

Let's say that every month you collect all the coins from the "swear jar" in your kitchen. For each time you used a curse word you had to put in 10$ in the swear jar, this rule was made because of your frequent outrages. So you decided to create a program to keep track of the amount put in the jar each month.

For each month in the year, the program asks for the amount you had to put in the jar that month.
After that it displays how many times you swore each month because C++ was playing tricks on you.
And what month you had to pay the most in the jar.-----------------------
