I am operating a Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit system. Recently I noticed my mp3 player is not recognized anymore on my computer. I tried different methods with my mp 3 player to make reasonably sure nothing is wrong with it. Device manager shows three yellow exclamation marks. 2 are next to 2 separate Lexmark X422 under imaging devices and the other was my Microsoft WPD Enhanced Storage Password Driver , which I tried to uninstall and let my computer re-install it upon start. Now it is gone altogether. I have tried trouble shooting through Microsoft's "Mr. Fix It", run... "hardware and device tool" and I get that drivers are being installed, for Lexmark x422 , because they detected something wrong with them.Nothing about WPD . When I go to apply this fix , it tells me the attempt failed. Also that Hardware changes might not have been detected.
I think I need to restore Microsoft WPD Enhanced Storage ven back to where it had a yellow exclamation mark and deal with the code 10 I get from trying to restart them. Can you help me /
