Are they any TVs with a feature to counteract obnoxiously loud TV commercials?

Only feature I know of to combat this problem is mute on the remote. Several TV's were supposed to have this feature but it never seemed to help.

There are some that can be added:
commercial zapper - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?q=commercial+zapper&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-Address&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7GGIE_en)
LOUD commercials Aggrivate everbody, I don't understand Politics or how Backroom dealing is done, Money Has to be behind it somewhere? Is their a Large fund that is distributed to continue this? and to who?
People will still watch TV and see the Commercials. They keep promising to eleminate the Loud commercials.
I think in the Long run, it will bite them in the .
People would rather watch a DVD with no commercials, than TV with LOUD Commercials?
I also hate Commercials at the Start of DVD's VCR's etc. If they gave the DVD's away, then I could understand Commercials at the start. We bought a Movie, Not commercials?

A Federal law was passed last year which made it illegal for commercials to be made louder than the shows during which they are broadcast. Unfortunately, the law is being blatantly ignored. I would be interested to know who to complain to. I have my elderly parents living with me a my father is hard of hearing. The volume he requires for the show is ear splitting to begin with, but when the ads come on, they about blast the family through the wall. Terrible.
