Well someone who was once a good friend stole a good bit of stuff from
Me the other day. It was an $800 iPhone 5, a $300 of 3DS system and accessories, and a iPod 2nd gen. I have text proof of him stealing it with him and someone else who knew admiring it. Can we charge him with theft with that? We also had a tracker on the phone at the time that showed the phone at his house with screen shots and a police officer that saw the tracker the night it happened. We also have three witnesses who were there and it was three different people's stuff that they stole. What can/should we do?

I'd talk to the police about it.. in fact I would have pushed the issue the day you talked to the cop the first time. You won't be doing the Charging but they will... You have evidence to back it up.
