I have a Waltec 12 shower faucet in the basement. It has been dripping. I have since replaced the seat and cartridge but dripping continues. Any suggestions on what else I can do? Thanks.

When you had the valve apart did you turn the water on for a few seconds to flush out the supplies? Let me know, Tom

Hi Tom, No, I did not turn the water on when I had the valve apart. I just feel the inside pipe with my finger to clear out. Eric

[I just feel the inside pipe with my finger to clear out. That just ain't going to get it Eric,
Shut the water off and open up the valve again. Check the seat for debris and this time flush out the supplies before you reassemble. Good luck, Tom

Hi Tom, I tried your method without much success. Since the faucet is very old, I am going to have it change to a single lever faucet. Thank you for your advice. Eric
