Hi, I just have a querry. My wife has irregular periods. In the month of sep her periods started on 16th. Now she missed the period in the month of Oct. Then she bought pregnancy kit and it showed positive. We went to the doctor last week. She suggested to go for ultrasound. As per the ultrasound my wife is at initial pregnancy stage. It was showing 4 1/2 week pregnancy. However, as per the doctor it should be somewhere around 1.5 - 2 months. They said either my wife has conceived late or the baby has not grown as it should be in 1.5-2 months. Therefore, she has asked to get ultrasound done in another 3 weeks just to ensure that whether the baby is growing fine as per the late conceiving or there is something wrong with the baby as it in not growing with due course of time. Please let me know if this case is common with other pregnant women's also who have irregular periods.
