Our side by side Maytag mzd2768
Problem with the ice discharge in the door. The flap does not close tight. Over a few weeks it seems to freeze up the inside opening and soon prevents the ice from discharging through the door. It makes plenty of ice but won't discharge. I am guessing there is a bad part, or some adjustment

It could be the ice discharge door seal or dripping water from the ice maker. It's very hard to tell without actually seeing it. Obviously it's a water freezing problem. You may have to investigate inside the door.
