I have replaced my kitchen faucet with a new one and when everything was finished and I turned the supply valve back on to experience my new kitchen sink and my handy work, only the cold water works. Nothing at all comes out when I turn it to hot. I have figured out through troubleshooting that it is the hot water supply valve that isn't working. I even took off the supply pipe to the faucet and left the valve open and nothing comes out.

I can't change the valve myself as the fittings are all behind the wall and I would need to take out the tiles under the sink the get to them, and I am renting the apartment.

Please tell me there is an easy solution for this I am just overlooking...

Do I need to call a plumber for this?

Shut the water off at the house stop and unscrew the bonnet packing nut on the angle stop. Back the stem and washer out counter clockwise. Now have someone turn the water back on for a few seconds while you hold a pan over the open valve. You should see a strong stream. If you have pressure then reassemble and test. Do you have hot water now? Good luck, Tom
