I was given this beautiful painting many years ago by a wonderful elderly couple that I was doing housekeeping for. I have not been able to find any information about the artist and the couple has since past away. If anyone can give me any information I would greatly appreciate it.

Like I told someone else, take a good photo to your library's reference desk for possible ID of the painting or ask them for info on local art dealers who might be able to ID it and give you a price estimate.

I have done that and where we live the closest art dealer is over 300 miles so I thought I would give it a shot on here. Thank you though for your advice.

Possibly call an art dealer or two just to run it past them for ideas. You've checked with your library?
