I'm five days late, and I have taken like five hpt (all of which were negative). I'm super crampy and every night I feel sick, and have low back pain. I have two children and the hpt should me two Weeks before my period was even due. I have had previous issues with ovarian cysts but they have never affected my period. Please help me!! The earliest I can get in to see my OBGYN is Dec 7. Thanks in advance fir the help.

Five days late is nothing, and the majority of women don't get an accurate result at this early stage of the game, despite what happened in previous pregnancies.

Having said that, there's no way to know if your period is delayed because of pregnancy, or something else. There's no way to give you a diagnosis online.

My advice would be to wait another week or two, and then test again if you still haven't gotten your period. Make sure to use first morning urine when you test. If that test is negative then wait until your next period is due. If you miss it then test again or get a blood test done.

Thank you. I'll wait until the seventh and either get a blood test or ultrasound. I've calculated my period for over two years, and I have always been right on time almost down to the hour. Weird that I know that, I know. Anyway, my horrible cramps , and nausea has slowed down to a minimal so I can feel semi human. Thank you for your help.

You're welcome. I hope it all turns out the way you want it to. :)

Soooo... This morning I got a positive hpt!! I guess my hcg levels just hadn't built up long enough to show on the pregnancy test!! It just goes to show every pregnancy is different.
