If I post something in an online forum about anger issues, that can potentially cause my financial damages by not landing a job, can I take legal action to remove said content?

Thanks!

No... if you are dumb enough to post something online its your fault and not anyone else's... and almost EVERY site out there the content ceases being your own once the submit button is pushed... and the courts will and have backed the site operators time and time again.

So NO you can't post something then expect to sue someone ELSE to get paid because it then exists online.

Unless YOU want sued for harassment by the site owners.

Get a job and earn your own money... and pay for some therapy.

Trolling my threads much?

I never said anything about suing for money, just inquired about legal action. And how am I harassing the site owners? By posting on a forum about an issue I have with the site and its privacy policy?

I have a job, my own money, and live a very fulfilling life! Thank you!

YOu are the TROLL here... YOU posting this on a PUBLIC forum... I am a member here in good standing and I am entitled to answer any and all threads I wish. And YOU are not in ANY position to do ANYTHING about it.

YOu give up your right to privacy on ANYTHING you post publicly.

If you had a job, money or a fullilling life... you would not be worried about not getting hired because of something you posted for the world to see... if you had money you would not be trying to sue someone else to line your pockets for your own stupidity... and if you had a fullilling life you wouldn't be here whining about other people NOT doing what you are throwing a temper tantrum about... because YOU weren't capable of reading the TOS and site rules before you posted things publicly.

From my perspective as well as most others... you apear rather pathetic based on your behaviour here the last two days.

I believe you will not have a successful lawsuit because the site operator has done nothing wrong. Why not first ask nicely if they will remove what you posted/ If they refuse to do so then review the site rules which, as Smoothy suggested, probably put them in the driver's seat.

Your best course of action is to ask nicely, not sue.

Aside to AK, He has asked and been told (politely) that our rules prohibit adhering to his request.

To Josh,

You have absolutely no leg to stand on. You are unlikely to find an attorney to take this case since there is no case. If you try going pro se, you will lose and probably be countersued for court costs.

The rules of this site are not atypical and are protected by law and legal precedent. When you joined and posted, you agreed to abide by the rules. One of those rules is that the site controls any content submitted.

As to your harassing the owner, I think a case can be made for that. You posted information about the owners (one who is no longer associated with the company) that was unnecessary and not on point.

Bottom line is you are not going to win this. We have reviewed your request. There is no personal info other than your name in your posts. The irony here is that you continue to post under this account, and by doing so, make association with your posts even easier to find. If you were truly concerned about your privacy here you would STOP posting.
