Hi,
I'm 15years old , and am the normal weight for my age .
For the past 3 months I've keep being continuously sick in the mornings and in the afternoon, even without eating anything.
I've had blood tests done which didn't show anything , but the idea entered my head that I may be making myself sick without realising .
I do have a problem with my weight and feel that I'm overweight and I do diet a lot , but never stay on them.
But as well I am sick straight after a meal , before it can even go into my stomach and make me feel sick.
Maybe I am wrong but I don't want to go to my GP about it , that is why I'm asking in here first .
If anyone make now any reasons for this please reply to me , I would be very gratefull
Thanks Fi

Hey,
A lot of the time Eating disorders are marked with abnormal eating patterns, diet and stress. Make sure you begin to eat more regimently (often) throughout the day. Eat 5 maybe 6 times a day, small portions of healthy food, vegetables, fruits, and stay away from starchy fats, and salts. Most of all, tell your mom or dad that you are taking a more balanced approached to your diet instead of hidding this problem. Hidding a problem can make things worse, and increase stress levels until you have an emotional breakdown. Stay around people you love and care for and don't involve yourself with people who make your anctious or nervous. Consult a physician if things become worse, and don't be afraid to tell someone.
Thanks

Hi yourself :) There could be many possibilities to the nausea... I know this will sound weird to some (and could touch on delicate "potty" issues... be warned)... if you aren't eating healthy, you probably aren't, shall I say, regular? You are probably constipated to some degree and this, in and of itself can make you feel very nauseated. DO NOT, please, do not think laxatives! This is just another road toward an ED... you need to up the fiber intake naturally :) I am encouraging you to speak to your parents if at all possible!
If you can't talk to them, then please, please find someone to talk to! It's in the mind that an ED can take over...
I KNOW that if you THINK about your weight/food/diets all of the time your mind could also be playing a part in you feeling sick... so it is vital for you to get help now... you need to rule out anything physical that could be wrong and deal with how you feel about yourself.
I am 37 years old now... eating disorders (ED's) have controlled the majority of my life. Feel free to talk at me anytime you need to...
Find someone to talk to... You're young... I'm sure most will agree with me that now is the time to find out if you need help and if so, to get the help! It's also the best time to learn the right ways to maintain your health and a healthy weight... Trust me on this one... you do not want to be 30-something someday, realizing that the help was there, if only... :)
Again, if you ever want to talk, please feel free to contact me! I know a lot about this... both the physical and emotional/mental aspects and would gladly share my knowledge and time with you!
You will be in my prayers!
I hope you see your answers! I know it's been awhile, but I had to say something :)
Keep us posted!
