It started in one room, where I would notice flying bits out of the corner of my eye, just a glance and then gone. They seem to attack at night, under fluoro light or incandedscent. If I sit still, as at my computer or playing guitar, I'll notice a stinging sensation on the inside of my nose, upper lip, eyebrow or eye lid and in my face. This is a major, major distraction, and subside unless I leave the room. In the bathroom magnification mirror, I can see tiny V shaped things, about a 1/32 inch long caking along my shoulders and neck. They appear to be dead. This infestation began in one room, of which I eventually visited less frequently because of the problem. The devils migrated to the next room, and then migrated upstars to the main floor. If I'm watchng TV, they constantly swarm into my face and eyes, nose and lips. They bite my lips so much that my upper lip turns numb. They leave small red welts on my cheeks. I don't notice them until they've struck. Now... At my office, I have this problem. I seem to have transported "them" outside my house and into my work atmosphere. When I enter my office after being vacated for 3 or 4 days, the devils immediately set upon me like flies on a dead corpse. My wife has undergone the same scenario, with her work place. Oddly enough, the pests do not seem to attack other people that come and go, or sit in my office, it's only me.
They are in our cars, offices, and home. I have used commercial "bombs" to try to eliminmate them. I vacuum there floors daily. I have shampooed the carpets, sprayed in between major appliance crevices, eliminated any old "insect hiding objects", A quick burst of "HotShot" flying insect killer will quell their attack, but they are shortly back at there front with full attack mode. There physical shaped varies from tine flying wedge, brown colered with out legs of visual appendages, to albino looking gnats that have greater visibility, usually darting across the room. It's the V shaped nit sized pupae that provided the real misery.
Whay do I do? This is taking over our normal comfortable lives. Pest controm companies act oblivious to any knowledge on the subject. They seem to be totally relegated to anys and termites. Help... Help... Anybody??

Where do you live?
Can you examine the walls and ceilings of the room where this started, for signs of dead animals in them? On the ceiling you will see brown stains, such as from a dead mouse.
Are there pets in the home, or were there?
Can you collect some dead bugs in a container to take to a school or exterminating business to look under a microscope? There are many online sites of pictures.
