Hi I had a daughter and when she was 14 she fell pregnant and had my grandson. With her being young s services were involved. It got to the point where we had him taken off us as her partner at the time was violent. With this she had her right taken away and I was the sole carear for him for 10 month but s services believed that my grandchild was still at risk of harm from her partner and the volitile relationship between me and my daughter which admit that it was bad at the time but it got resolve. Anyway s serices thought it was too late and we had to go to court to keep him in my care. Unfortunately I didn't get to keep him and is now in the process of getting adopted. I was just wonder with my circustances changed would there be a possibility that I could stop it and fight for him back into my care. As I think that it has went wrong and nothing was said that was possitive. Please help me??

Was there an evaluation done at the time all these changes were going on or just someone making decisions you weren't allowed to participate in ?

The guardian made all the decisions that I wasn't allowed to participate in.

Then you may have a chance at fighting it if they didn't follow all the procedures. But you will have to start right away and not wait any longer. They should have encouraged the placement to be with a relative and not a stranger.

See I only met the guardian 3 times and she judged me within 3 hours of visiting my home. And I made complaints about her doing this and nothing was done about it but now my case is over she is now getting looked at as they have had more complaints about her with other people and also within s services about the way she works. Would you be able to help me with a few questions I have.

You need a solicitor right away to help you though this case. This is much more complicated then what we can address online. It sounds like you have a case to fight it. How much of a case you have is something for them to answer.
