This has been going on for years.
I have pipes snacked once or twice a year.
Washing machine water will start backing up in to AC condinsation drain, plumber will come out and run the snake though a little port outside my kitchen sink.
I finally had a flushout installed in the sewer line, but the line is clean, problem seems to be a continuous build up in laundry line.
I took out garbage disposal a couple of years ago,and use a strainer over the sink drain we wash our dishes in, and make sure dishes in dish washer are not depositing anything large in line, by cleaning them. Yet the line keeps getting clogged and water still backs up.

Can anyone PLEASE give me an idea how I could resolve this situation, without having to call a plumber, constantly.
The pipes seem to be cast iron, if there is any kind of solution I can pour down the drain to breakup or maintain a clean pipe.
Is this soap build up?

PLEASE HELP

Thanks Rh

Who in the world would connect a AC condensate drain line into your washer drain. That's just setting yourself up for problems. Bad enough to hook it to the main but to hook it to a drain that produces pressure as it drains is just plain dumb. If you really want to keep it connected to the washer put a check valve on the AC drain, otherwise reconnect to a drain that doesn't produce pressure or it's best to run the AC line outdoors, Good luck, bTom
