Ok, so I'm a high school student and I like this guy who's a football player in my last period block. Our relationship is like hey, hey, bye, bye. He's a sweet guy we had a conversation recently and it was nice. ANYWAY, how do I confront him about liking him, or getting his number? NOTE: I'm a private person when it comes to relationships or just talking to guys. I don't like people in my business normally. In our class together we have a couple of his football teammates and they're good friends it seems and they're always around, so it also makes it hard to really talk to him.

It sounds like stuck in a hard position. If I were you try to get to know him first. Then if things go well from there thent you should ask him if he has any plans and if he wants to hangout after school or on the weekend.

What are some things I can say to strike up a good conversation?

You can start by talking about school or aak how the football team is doing this season. Any little things. They don't have to be large topics after you have talked to him a bit then a try to take another approach at it.
