I currently live in the US but would like to find a job in the UK under a spousal visa since my fiancé is a natural British-born citizen. Is it legal to look for a job while residing in the US?

You can look for a job ANYWHERE on the entire planet, getting an interview or being made an offer is a different matter entirely.
