Hi, so on the 27th of October I had sex and I am not sure if the condom broke or not. I was very worried about being pregnant so I took the morning after pill 3 days after having sex. It is now about a week after taking the pill and I got my period yesterday. I can't take a pregnancy test yet as the beginning of my last period was on the 19th of October. Since getting my period yesterday using a tampon is quite uncomfortable and painful to insert and remove and I though this my be to the fact that this was my first time having sex? I am quite sure the morning after pill made me constipated as I didn't go for around 6 or so days. This afternoon I was bleeding from the anus and this was quite a lot of bright red blood and has continued for a few hours in just a small amount now. I was thinking the effect from the morning after pill may have caused the constipation to lead to hemorrhoids? Although I have also had stomach gurgling for a week and sharp head pains when titled back and forward? Can you please help do you believe I am pregnant? I am fairly sure the condom didn't break but not 100% sure.

Did you also have anal sex ?
Being constipated at this early state would not be from being pregnant.
1. condoms have a 3 to 10 percent failure rate, so they are far from 100 percent.
2. The morning after pill if you waited three days most likely had no effect what so ever, except you will get maybe some of the side effects from pill.
It sounds like several issues, none related to pregnancy. Since you go this period it is rare that you are pregnnat.

No I did not have anal sex.
Is it possible that the constipation could have been from the morning after pill?
My period was heavy and only lasted for one day as it has now stopped?
Should I wait around a week stop stressing and just see what happened as it is most likely all just because of my very very high level of stress and possible side effects from the morning after pill?
Thank you

Hi, My normal cycle is on the 19th of October and goes for 7 days.
So it finished the on 26th of October. I had sex on the 28th.
I took the morning after pill 3 days after sex to be safe.
I got my period about 6 days after taking the morning after pill.
I had one day of heavy period and a second day of lighter period, then heavy dark brown discharge for 2 more days and then it ended. Since then I have been very tired, had grumbling stomach, sore back and headaches on one side when I tilt my head back or forward or put a lot of pressure on my feet for example jumping.
I have been very stressed so I thought that this could possibly be from such a high level of stress for a long period?
Also I know the morning after pill can affect your cycle, so does that mean I should expect my period on 19 as I would normally get if?
Or does it restart from when I took the morning after pill?
And yes I know I have to take a pregnancy test but I am waiting till the 19th to take it so that the accuracy is correct.
Thank you any help or advice is appreciated

No one online can say what is going on - most likely you are feeling the effects of the pill, combined with stress. There's a chance you could have been a few days pregnant, too tiny to see of course, but the uterus starting to line. You can't predict when your next period will be, and I hope you will not use the morning after pill as birth control. Get b.c. pills or a patch. Also, it would be very rare for a woman to get her period on the same day each month, because the length of the months vary.

I don't use it as a method of birth control. The situation is quite complex and personal and I am not going to specifically discuss it. I usually am very regular I am not saying that it is always exactly on time but usually it comes on the expected day give or take one. Thank you though

The morning after pill is not for regular use and doing so can have serious side effects on your health long term.
Also taking it 3 days after sex is about worthless. If not taken within 72 hours it has no effect and the longer you wait, after the time of sex, the less effect it has. So taking 12 hours, after sex is not as good as 6 hours Taking it 50 hours is a lot less effective than 12 hours.
So 3 days will give almost no effect to stop a pregnancy.
It may take two months but your cycle should return to normal. You may miss the next period.
And no nothing is complex, and how complex will a pregnancy make this ? Chosing to have sex without proper protection means unwise choices, just chose not to have sex if proper protection can not be done.
