I am trying to find out how to go about having my ex-boyfriend removed from my sons's birth certificate and having his rights taken away, without having to go to court. His apart wife has threatened me and now is trying to cause problems with me. I have been the sole provider and caregiver of my son since he was born. I have had no help from his father In means of taking care of him or buying him the things that he needs. I just want him completely removed from mine and my son's life. My son doesn't even know who his father is, not by my fault, but by his father not wanting to have anything to do with him. Is there any way that I can do this without having to go to court?

The father has rights. You can't just decide that you want to deny him those rights. The only way his rights could be revoked is he's found to be an unfit father in court.

There's no way to go about this without involving the courts.
