After 5 years of being the only father the child knows.Knowing the child is not biologically his from birth.DCSF gets envolved he stated the child was his without needing paternity the case ended with DCFS awarding him with sole custody of the child. Now that he has another child he said he got DNA and the results state what he already knew the child is not his.Can he terminate his parental rights due 2 paternity when he never brought it up before even when DCFS was envolved.

DCFS actually can not award custody, they can give temp custody because of a issue at home, but it appears the real custodial parents did not fight this in court.

It needs to go to family court. A non bio father can have rights in some areas. So this is a yes and no question that will end up in court with them to decide
