What's the best version of adobe reader? I don't want all the xtra bloatware that's not needed. I'm using a HP compaq computer and running windows xp sp2

If you are looking only for the reader Adobe Reader7 is quite good. Adobe Reader 8 is also now available I think.

Adobe reader 8 is much faster than 7, and has a lot of the bloat taken out.

In my view,adobe reader 8.0 is good for win Xp service pack 2.
