Hi I am new to this forum.
I have a baseboard heater that was passed on to me (stelpro brand). The house I just about is very cold as the previous owner removed all baseboard heaters and thermostats.
The wiring coming out of the wall (out of the circular baseboard steel ring) is 14awg wire.
I have no identifying marks on my baseboard heater to determine the model. But there is some info located under the built in thermostat cover. It says:
CAT UBBT
120-277v / 17A
347V / 11A
Single pole.
The breaker that I turned off to kill that baseboard live wire was a two switch 15amp breaker.
Does anybody know if I can install this baseboard heater without it causing a fire?
Thanks!
