For the past three days, my house heater has been blowing cold air even when I set the temperature at 65-85. It blows heat for 5-10 minutes and turn back to cold air. The thermostat is almost 10 years old. What do I need to do?

Is it a gas heater or electric?

If it's gas, have you checked the pilot light?
