I read a novel about a guy who I think was a government agent. He was kidnapped at the same time his wife was raped by the same kidnapper but later rescued. He was rescued I think 2 years later and was asked to stay in an isolated place with his wife to recover. He did not know that his wife was raped but got to find out because she was rigid and scared and also had nightmare. I believe they had 2 children. At first he lost his memory but later recover and discovered that he had not been too good to his wife and that the house they promised to buy before the incident he never did. After his recovery he asked the wife to do the design and he finally bought it. It took the wife like a year before she could finally sleep with him. Anyway the bad guy was later caught and they could no longer live in fear. I think the name of the guy was Morgan or the title, but I know Morgan is attached to it.

Run this past the reader's advisory librarian at your public library. I've Googled, but no luck. The library has more resources than I do.
