It seems to take forever for the water to get hot in the shower. When it does, it seems to need to be adjusted for temperature a lot. It didn't always act this way. Any suggestions?

How do all of you other hot water faucets act, slow too or just fine. You may have a partially plugged mixing valve on the hot side of your faucet. Shot of the main, remove the handle and then remove the retaining ring that holds the valve. Clean it or replace it.

What is the temperature of hot only at the lavatory? What is the temp of the hot only at the shower?
