Hello. I've been married to a wonderful man for a year now. The problem is, I moved to his country to be with him and now I find myself missing home terribly that the homesickness turned into physical pain. He is not willing to relocate, I tried to convince him. I don't like the weather here, haven't made any friends yet and my job pays minimum wage. I used to be a professional back home. I feel that I lost more than what I gained. Whenever I talk about leaving my husband talks me out of it. I try to ignore my feelings but they do come back with force very often. Should I choose my hometown or my husband?

Look, to feel a bit disconnected, specially when you are in a different environment, surrounded by people you don't know, it is normal to feel like you living in the shadow of your husbands life and dream.
There's one question I would ask you to make: Do you Love your husband, truly and deep inside, do you love him ? Going back to the past isn't a good idea. It sounds like you need all that light back, all the confort of the life you used to have, friends, good job... but now that you are there, you need to be strong and turn the table around. That will make you a better and stronger person. Meet the people! Get a good job, and If you have one already try challenging yourself into a raise, a promotion. Get a hobbie, again ( meet people ). Strong and independent. If after a few months of truly har working in this things I said, you still feel right...
Go back, but that will show what you live the most... which not necessarily is a bad thing.
LIFE IS ONLY ONE YOU HAVE
AND IS SHORT... MAKE THE MOST OF IT
DON'T BE AFRAID TO HURT PEOPLE IF YOU FOR EXAMPLE DECIDE TO GO BACK.

Just be true to yourself
To who you are
