Can I sue my ex husbands attorney for negligence, and emotional distress ? He has had me in court on uncountable occasions and made uncountable false accusations. Also, he stated to me in his office that I would never speak to nor see my daughter again. I have never harmed my daughter physically or emotionally and they continue to keep me from seeing her with false accusations.

You can try and sue almost anyone for almost anything... the question is do you have the money to waste on it? Knowing the chance of winning is very slim.

What OP describes would not be negligence; it appears to be intentional. And, furthermore, it appears that the attorney was merely doing his job. Does it appear that any of this attorney's actions unsupported by either the law or a good faith argument as to what the law should be? If so, you could consider filing a grievance with the bar association or whatever body regulates the ethics of attorneys licensed in the jurisdiction.
