Dr Bill, I am subject to ETG testing and I slipped under per r pressure. I have a client who wanted to mert for drinks and I had one glass of red wine that contained 14.5 % alcohol. I found out today that I have to test. My first time to have back to back testing since I have been in the program. I have approximately 21-22 hours. I have consumed 10 bottles of water and two cokes from last night through today. Also took Pamabrom. I stopped the water consumption because of the diluting. I am 34 yrs, 115 lbs, 5'2. I believe the cutoff is 500ng. Do I have a chance of passing. There are severe consequenses and I will have to start over. I would greatly appreciate your opinion.

Had a surprise ETG test 22 hours after having one glass of red wine with 14.5% alcohol. I found out the restaurant serves between 5-6 ounces per glass. I calculated the exta alcohol and possibly the extra serving and came out with 1.6 drinks. I am 5'2, 115, 34 yrs old. The court uses 500ng for sanctions, but accuse you if it is over 100ng in hopes that you confess. I have court every third Friday and didn't get called in last week. Not sure if I am safe yet or not. Very stressed.

Also, I wanted to add that I consumed a gallon of water between that evening and the next day, but wasn't dilute.

I am not in program for alcohol, it is for another reason. I haven't had a problem with the other, but I find it especially difficult in work situations to obstain from one drink.

Update. I passed in 22 hours after consuming 6 ounces of wine containing 14.5% alcohol at 500ng cutoff. Very relieved. Not sure what the EtG reading was, but they usually accuse you of drinking at low levels hoping that you will admit.
