Ok, One thing I like about this site is the anonymity or however you spell it. And also the help I have gotten from this site. Which leads to my current issue. I will save you the trouble of looking at my prior questions, yes me and my wife have been trying for a kid for maybe 4-5 months, yes, I still feel others pains, no matter who they are, even if I don't know them. I want to draw attention to a current issue I am actually concerned about, and please be as brutally honest as you can be, that is what gets through to me. This is why I am going to open like a "tell all" book. Here is the issue, don't hold back, please be as brutally honest as you can possibly be, I promise I will not report you.

Current issue I have recently have been having some concerning chest pains, mainly at work. At first, I thought maybe they were only stress pains because I work with my dad (who is the owner and my boss of said company). Now, normally, you would think a son working for his father would get exceptional treatment at work... HELL NO! I am an automotive technician, and my dad owns 2 garages, and I have to work with him. As much as I love my father, I severely HATE in all way possible, working FOR him.

I had to honestly work my way to "Stock Manager" after a year, and even then he was hesitant about it. I currently get paid per hour, while the other employees get paid by the job they sell. I am being stuck with oil changes and vehicle inspections. I am beginning to feel like I am simply the companys "".

My dad tells me to clean up a bay HE used. He (my dad) has no problem with using my tools, then yelling at me for them being left out in the open once we close up. Currently I found the best way to deal with my day at work is to sit down with my wife, and we both drink a 40 oz together while watching a movie and have a "smoke" I rather not say more about the "smoke". You know what I mean, it not need to be said. But anyway, recently, my chest pains have been getting worse, I have tried to hide the pains from my wife, but it has been getting harder to even hide them, and I am forced to grab my chest like I am having a heart attack, but I have looked up symptoms of heart attacks, and the symptoms I'm showing are not heart attack related. This is where I hit a dead end.

I went to a doctor once, and he poked and prodded at me, then gave me Prilosec! I followed the directions to a T!! NO CHANGE AT ALL! At first I thought it was stress related, but now it seems like I get the chest pains randomly though the day, but they get worse if I choose to drink heavily. Could the pains be related to my drinking? Or stress? Or both?

Please be as brutally honest as you can be, again that is really all that gets through to me, just put it in black and white, as you can make it.

I'm not a doctor (maybe in the next life), but can think of at least six things this could be--and probably am wrong, so I won't say and try to diagnose you electronically.

How long ago did you go to the Prilosec doctor? What exams and tests had he done?

Go back to see a doctor, and don't forget to mention your drug use and alcohol consumption. And, by the way, have you read about birth defects and low birth weight babies born to parents who smoke and drink? So, unless you are ready to raise a baby with serious health issues, if you two can even get pregnant, double-up on the birth control!
