My father has been abusive to my Mother my entire life. Just recently they got into a fight in which my father was sent to jail. She has filed an order of protection against him and he is not to be anywhere near the house. She also filed a divorce due to domestic abuse.Yesterday she had to go to court against him and she decided not to drop the charges. After court she went to work. When she got home, her house back window was busted in. We know that it had to be him, however no one was home to witness the crime. He did however leave a blood trail and the police officer did take a sample. My question is can he get jail time for vandalizing her home?

Probably, but it depends upon the criminal statutes for whichever state or country in which this happened.

Or he could get put in jail for violating the order of protection, if it can be proven that he did it.

If the police actually investigate it, I would be surprised if they do anything, keep us posted on what the police do
