I'm may have the details wrong, but I have been trying to figure out the name of this film for years.
I think it was from the 70's and could have been foreign.
It seems like it was about a woman who was put in an institution of some sort, but she could walk around freely, so I don't know. There were very few characters. I remember a couple of scenes: One where I think she was sleepwalking and she went down on the grounds to a Mexican gardener. He was not expecting her, but they had sex. I have no idea what the man was doing gardening at night.
In another one, she walked into this parlor and there were several torture devices there like a sarcophagus with spikes in it.
I know at the end she was running down a dirt road escaping just as her husband was coming to pick her up.
My memory of these scenes is foggy and I know this isn't a lot to go on, but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
