I have grown out my pubic hair to 2 1/2 inches long. That being said, I work out (runner) from time to time and I sweat. I wear tight panties at times. But the problem is this... before I became active that I never experienced a rash in the creases of the groin area. I have experienced itchiness, burning sensation, fleshy red bumps that itch, flaky skin that's white, and circular-like on the outside crease of my labia majoras and near the vaginal opening. Of course, the cheeks of my buttocks. It's only in the area where my long pubic hair rubs off. Since, I shave it all off that I still see those bumps, slightly red areas, flakiness at times and itchiness.Another scenario, I take frequently showers but I sometimes don't thoroughly dry off or it's semi moist. This rash didn't start until my pubic hair grown longer and being active.
(1) can sweaty "long pubic hair" cause rashes?
PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE B/C I'M SCARED AT THIS POINT =(

Stop wearing tight fitting panties and make sure they are cotton. You have too much sweating going on down there. I would suggest just trimming your pubic hair and not shaving. And, yes, wash and dry well.

Is this more likely to be a rash such as "female jock itch" tickle?

No, it's not like "female jock itch," that would be a yeast infection as jock itch is a male yeast infection.

My bad, Tickle is correct. Was a long night at work last night and my brain was thinking something different.
