I have a Kenmore Dishwasher mod. 665.13213K901 which I purchase about a year and a half ago. It's been working fine until now! The other day, I ran a load, and realized it did not drain. I pressed the CANCEL/DRAIN BUTTON and nothing. I had about 2" of water in the tub. I got out my shop vac, and sucked all the water out! Here is what I have done so far...
1.)Turned to power off!
2.) I removed the lower arm assembly and the screen. I found a whole lot of greasy sediment. I removed all of it with the shop vac.
3.) I then removed the next piece, exposing the drain, etc. I vacuumed that out also.
4.) Went underneath and disconnected the drain hose. Ran a small snake through the hose and the drain piece.
5.) Re-attached the hose.
6.) Turned on the power, without reassembling the inside. Pressed the CANCEL/DRAIN button and all I here a click, but nothing happens.
Is there a reset button, or something else I should try? I am fairly mechanically inclined, but my late husband used to do all of this! I've never worked on a dishwasher before!
