My boyfriend and I have been together for 2yrs, very in love, engaged for 2-14-12 but on 2-6-12 my young son passed away in his sleep, I became so depressed and wouldn't see him or talk to him on the phone for months but he stood by me, telling me he would always be here for me, he wasn't going anywhere and I believed him.

I felt so guilty for not being here when my son passed, I was with him(bf) that night an felt if I had been home or even went home earlier maybe my boy would be alive, my BF was sort of needy an wantd me to stay longer that night so I did, now my son is gone. We text an used Facebook every day but I wasn't able to eat, sleep or get out of my bed, in the mean time my BF was begging to see me, wanted to marry me still, still loved me, at about month 6 I started feeling better an then I realize my BF wasn't texting me as before, stop saying "I love you" an stop saying "babe or baby" so I questioned him but he said it was just tiredness an not to worry but I knew it was something more.
Finally I got him to admitt that he ran into an old GF from high skool he hasn't seen in 7-8yrs an she still loves him an of gave him attention an affection which I wasn't givings him, any ways he says I hurt him so bad he's afraid to trust me again. He says he likes her a lot but won't say if he loves her to me an he still texts me like 5-10 a day, tells me I'm beautiful, an sexy an he a lot of him still love me he's just scared of getting hurt. I am still in love with him an want him back , do you think this is a rebound relationship an he will realize he still loves me? There's a lot of hurt between us but I text him saying I think you still love me just she gave you what I wasn't an you were lonely so you grab her she's familiarity for you, but I know you love me not her an now you feel sorry for her, an he replies bak "your right, your text is right" so what should I do?

It seems like he is telling you one thing while messing around with her. He's probably telling you this to keep stringing you along in case that one doesn't work out. Do you really want to be with someone like that? You need to talk to him and find out what's going on and then decide for yourself where you want to go from there.
