My ex husband stopped paying payments for our daughter. His reason, she lives on college campus so he won't send it to me. Yet he is not sending it to her either. Can he do that?

Depends on the laws, and whatever your divorce decree says. And what you can enforce through the courts. Why is he NOT paying through the court?

In NYS support is supposed to continue until age 21. Living on campus doesn't affect the need for support. Support is also never paid to the child.
If she is under 21 and he stopped paying, then go back to court and have the court enforce the support order.

This only applies if at the time the order was created the law stated 21. New York has teetered between 18 and 21 several times. So depending on when your order was written he may be done with the obligation. Your going to have to reread the order to find out where you stand.
