My fiancée is being held in county jail on charges that has nothing to do with immigration but has been told that he has an ICE detainer on him because he missed his check-in date. Is it possible to get the detainer lifted because he already went through the immigration process and has found undeportable. I would like to bail him out but is afraid that ICE is going to pick him up.

I had a duo bench warrant from 10 yrs ago ,I have leaved a clean life since 10 until bench warrant unit picked me . Immigration came in and spoke to me and when bench warrant took me the correctional facility it was said there was a detainer on me but when I paid my bail the detainer was lifted why?
