View Full Version : I haven't had my period in about 2-3 months. Could I be pregnant?

Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex in August. I haven't had my period sense before it. Although my period has always been irregular. I have been tired more than usual, even though I've been very active. My breasts aren't tender or hurt like people say they would. When me and him had sex, he told me he knows when to take it out before he cums. But this time he said he might have cummed in me a little cause he didn't know he was about to. Could I be pregnant? I am going to be asking my friend if she can get me a pregnancy test because I have a over protective abusive mother who would kill me if I am pregnant. So I can't talk to her about it. Please help me. I am freaking out.

Just a tiny bit of sperm will do it, those little things just swim like crazy to get up to the uterus and settle on an egg. I suggest you go to the doctor for a proper pregnancy test, and if you are not pregnant, start taking precautions so you won't have to worry about your abusive mother.

It is a shame you can't discuss this with your mom.

The pull out method, which your boyfriend tried to use, and didn't even do properly, is not a form of birth control. There's plenty of sperm in pre-ejaculate (the substance that makes a mans organ slippery so he can enter) to get you pregnant. So you actually had unprotected sex, which means that the chances of getting pregnant are pretty high.

You'll have to take a pregnancy test. Make sure to use first morning urine. If the test is negative wait another week or two. If you still haven't gotten your period than test again. If that test is negative wait until your next scheduled period is due. If you miss it, take another test or see a doctor for a more accurate blood test.

Sadly, if you are pregnant, you will have to tell your mom sooner or later. It won't be something you can hide for long.

Good luck.

Yeah. If I tell her... which I might... she will just argue and get abusive and I would end up moving out... probably with my boyfriend and his mom. I talked to my boyfriend about this whole thing and he said if I am, he will take full responsibility and help with the baby and stay with me. Im almost 17 (I know kind of young) and we've been together for almost 5 years (2013 Valentines day).

You may find it funny, but it's really not. You dodged a bullet this time.

The withdrawal method is the most unreliable method that there is. No form of birth control is 100% effective. If you are not prepared to be a mother, with an abusive mother of your own, it would be in your best interest to avoid sex like the plague.

I hope you realize that pulling out is not birth control.

The withdrawal method is nothing more than playing russian roulette with your uterus.
