I guess she had the ownership; was it part of an estate? I don't see where the crime is, and if you do, report her to the authorities. If they think it's a crime after investigating, then there will be a charge, until then, not.

I'm not sure how you can go about this without spending money on a lawyer to sue her, unless you have lots of documentation for Small Claims court. How did the ex wife get the car and the title? Who is the executor of the estate? What is your part in all this?

So someone bought a car in 2010 and subsequently died. The ex wife then registered the car in her name.

Who should have inherited the car?

This is an estate issue, where the person who should have gotten the car, sues for the value of the car.

For it to be criminal, there has to be intent, but you do not change, you can report this to the police and see if they wish to act, but really suing in civil court is the only good optoin
