I consider as prettier than the other girls, I am smart, really really nice, I am also really really funny and I laugh a lot. Guys don't see me as more than just a friend. :(. I am in 8th by the way

Well in 8th grade that is all they need to see you as. It is good that you are seen as an intelligent fun young lady rather than a girl to mess around with.

Respect yourself and just have fun! :) Guys will eventually see you as more than friends trust me! Don't think about it and when you are least expecting it somebody will start flirting with you and before you know it your going to be in love for the first time! <3 I don't know when this will happen but it will! :)

Correct, in 8th grade that is all many will see or want to see. My son in the 8th grade has no interest at all in girls, the idea of a girlfriend or "dating" is just still wrong to him. Just need to wait a couple years still

I'm glad that you feel good about your attributes, but am a little worried that you think they are what makes someone attractive. Being likable has little to do with being pretty, smart, or laughing a lot. It's possible to laugh too much (I see teen girls do that sometimes, and it seems contrived and an effort to get attention). Just be yourself and don't try to be better than other girls. Be friendly, be nice, say compliments, show interest in others. It's not about being clever.

Don't let that bug you! Don't end up like the girls in my year and do stuff to young and gross! Just be yourself and that's all you can do! Hope you find someone nice and good-looking! Hope this helps! Xxx good luck!

I'm also in eight grade and I don't really like boys but so many girls in my grade are doing stuff just because of peer pressure! So many parents don't know what their children get up to in our school!
