Have it taken out and the hole filled.

If your building inspector will allow it, you can just fill it in. But that will depend on location.

Cement would be costly, but it is up to building codes in your area, The last few we filled on the farm, was just with old rock, ( where they were tearing up a road) and dirt with gravel. And packed. Just like any back fill that you will build over. But every area has its codes and the inspector will have to approve it, before they allow the slab to go down

Thanks they want $3360 for piers and stronger steel I have filled it in with rubble and packing sand but cement would be cheaper than what simmons homes won't
