wonder if this vintage watch has any value. Circa 1958.

Yes, I would think it has some value. Take it to a jeweller and have them appraise it. Depends really on how many jewels it runs on.

Hello, Longines is a better watch, and the 3 jewels does not sound correct. I notice it was a watch givien to someone as it has a engraving on the backside of the case. Generally speaking, better watches were given in these sitiuations. Looking on the left side of the backside engraving, there is are some stampings that I cannot read. Usually that refers to the case gold content, etc. What does it say in that area. Also you can see a small lip on the backside case back. You may want to carefully POP that off so you can see the inside watch movement where all your answers can be found. IF you do that, find something that's hard plastic to aid you in removing the back. Use of say a knife or pocket knife can end up scratching the case back. So use something non metal, mayne a plastic knife. There will be information on the inside back case cover, and the movement.
