My boyfriend is a great guy and so patient. He has put up with a lot when it comes to me. I am 18, fresh out of high school, and he is 23, in the military for four years. We are both on different levels in our life, but very happy with each other.

In my previous relationship I was left. I know it was because I was always jealous and didn't know how to control my emotions. I have been that way since I was a child. I lash out, cry, and throw stuff. Even though I have grown out of it a little, occasionally it does happen.

I just moved in with him two months ago and we are currently living with two other guys. I am unemployed and currently sit at home most of the day. He works 7-4 on most days. I am hopefully getting a job soon.

We used to live two hours apart and we met through a video game. We were dating for about 9 months when I moved in. He likes to play video games a lot and when I moved in I took that from him because I am bored all the time and want to spend every moment with him.

When something doesn't go my way I get very angry. I have threatened to leave twice over some things - like his dog trying to bite me. Though those things are fixed. I have a hard time with the games.

Last night he was doing charity work from 11-6. When he came home I was playing a game and he sat next to me and I saved the game. And then he asked if I wanted pizza and ordered some for us. Then he asked me if he could go play FIFA with one of our roommates. I instantly said no because I hadn't seen him all day. He told me just one game and it got under my skin. So I raised my voice saying sure go play one f***ing game.

He left the room and I locked myself in the bathroom. He was gone an hour and I was texting him because I knew one game lasted 15 minutes normally. So when he knocked and said pizza was there I ignored him and refused to come out. I told him to sleep on the couch and once he got his stuff I locked the bedroom door and put my headphones in to relax. I told him if he needed something to text me since I wouldn't hear him.

After awhile he came in and we started talking. I started talking in a calm voice explaining how I felt. Then he started raising his voice and I lost it. I started screaming at him and he told me he wanted me to leave. I started throwing my stuff and throwing stuff in my bags and screaming at the top of my lungs. I took my car key and started cutting my arm with it and crying. He got even madder and I started to panic thinking about being alone again.

I ran down the street and honestly didn't know what I was doing. He told me if I don't come back in five minutes I have to leave. When I did come back I was upset and showered and kept crying. We laid in bed and we started to talk again and he suggested a break - me going back home for a little bit. I said no I'm not doing that.

I threatened to kill myself and he got mad and told me to never say that. He said he needed to decide what to do if I keep doing this. He said if I don't stop freaking out I have to leave. He said mental he can't handle it anymore.

I don't know what to do anymore. I'm afraid I can't control myself or my emotions. I don't want to lose him. Please help.

You should see a doctor about your insecurities. You are too immature to handle this relationship. Go home. Get therapy. Get a job.

I had a job. I gave up my life for him. I believe he is the immature one. I gave my job up to move here and cancelled my college application. I had recently talked to someone about it and they believe I gave up too much to be with him when he hasn't given me anything. I am not immature for the relationship. But thank you. He told me he wanted me to get therapy as well.

Get the therapy when you move back home. Then, go back to school. You will be better able to handle a relationship when you have a better sense of yourself. Also, you should never give up your life for anyone. Lastly, if you don't want someone who games, don't meet boyfriends on those types of sites.
