I am 33 yrs old and 6 months pregnant. Been sick with vomiting, nausea, dehydrated, pain and losing too much weight. Have to have my gallbladder out next week and have also a stone the size of a golf ball. Wht kind of surgery do they do and I am scared and have been having panic anxiety attacks. Please help.

Why didn't you ask the doctor who is removing your gall bladder? Only the surgeon could explain exactly what surgery is being performed on you. It should calm your fears when you ask your doctor.

I asked and was told about 3 incisions and one was by my belly button but all my anxiety is confusing me and is this surgery done on pregnant women when they really do have to have it or can it be held off.

The doctor will usually explain it in length.
I don't know if it will be the same for you but my wife had it done and it was fairly simple. 3 incisions, they go in with a scope and remove it all through the incisions. It wasn't too involved and she was out the same day. You're probably worrying over nothing.

It all depends on whether the risks weigh the benefits. The 3 hole surgery is called laproscopic surgery.
You need to ask the doc if you will be put under general anesthesia or if it will be done with a spinal block.
All of your questions need to be discussed with your OB as well as the surgeon performing the operation. Their answers will be more accurate than those of strangers on the internet who have no idea of your medical history.

Since I am pregnant I am scared and after surgery will be sent to maternity floor to be watched I was told. I have a stone, size of golf ball and don't understand how you take it out through an incision. Sorry for all these questions.

I really can't tell you. All I can say is that your doctor should have explained this in detail to you before. I don't really know the procedure myself.
