Dr Bill,
I have taken an EtG test and the result was that my urine was too dilute. I was not purposefully trying to do that. I had nothing to hide and I was very careful about incidental exposure. I work outside in agriculture for a living and I carry a large water bottle with me all day long. I try to maintain good hydration while I work. I was not instructed to restrict my water intake before potential test days and I did not change my water intake for the second test I took because they made me take another test right after they told me my first test was too diluted. If in the event my urine was too dilute again and I have to retest, what should be my water intake be for a test day so that this does not happen again? I am a male, 6', 190 pounds, very physically active and fit. They days of test I am working outside all day, sweating, but not as much now because of fall time.
