Our Evcon furnace is a 1995 model DGAT070BDC. It has worked great every year until last year 2011. What it did last year was ,it would ignite the ignigter but after it would glow for a minute it would call for gas and then shut down without fireing. I found the valve was bad and it worked OK after I replaced the valve. That was last year. Now when I tried it this season it doesn't light the igniter at all. The ignigter won't light up when thermostat is turned on but the flux motor comes on. Any suggestions other than replacing the ignighter? I did remove it and fillaments still look good

You have to test the ignition and do not touch the black part with your hands since that can be detrimental to it.
