I am on probation for a grand theft felony. I have 4 1/2 years left, and have a lot of restitution left to pay. I am wanting to move from South Dakota to Minnesota to live with my sister. The housing would be way less and the job opportunitys way better. Would I be able to make this move?

You will have to request the move, the state you want to go to, has to approve it, then the state you are moving from.

It will take from 1 to 3 months to get a transfer approved.
