I am a US citizen. I was married 4 years ago in the united states after being enganed for 2 years to a moroccan man living in morocco. He arrrived ona fioncee visa and we were married here a month after he arrived here. From the 2nd month he was here I knew it was not a good decision and his personality changed. However I ended up pregnant and moved from CA to CO. for three years we lived in a bad marriage until I finally moved back home to CA leaving him in CO. He was abusive, mean and quite a Dr. Jekel and Mr Hyde. I being the sap I am tried to be happy. I left Co because I list my job (only one financially supporting this marriage) I needed surgery for uterin cance so I came to CA. I have been here 7 months and need a divorce. He just sent me a text saying he is moving back to morocco with a new fioncee. How will I get a divorce and I need to make sure I have full custody. He does lie and don't want him to sneek and take our son. He had mentioned he would do this in the past. He would like to take him to morocco away form me. Our son is only 3. He said he leavs in a week. I want a legal diforce full custody and peace of mind. I don't have a lot of money.

You do it the same way as if he lived in the apartment down the street. You hire an attorney, file for divorce, file for child custody and file for child support. His status makes no difference in what you do
