Check into zinc gluconate as a mineral you take every day. Research it. My son started with 22 mg. three times a day.

I have extremely sensitive skin and struggled with acne for years. I tried all products and I either still had it or the ingredients burned my skin badly. Have you tried drinking organic apple cider vinegar? I have found this works the best for keeping my skin clear without chemicals. I put two tablespoons in a 16 oz bottle of water twice per day and drink it through a straw (so it won't damage my tooth enamel). It actually cleared up my skin within the first week. I also started giving it to my daughter in small amounts to help with her bad eczema and it has worked wonders. I always use the Bragg brand of vinegar but I am guessing any organic (unfiltered) cider will do. Good luck.
