My 2year old chihuahua/Yorkie mix Keeps peeing in the house I take him out ever few hours ,I have tried crating him but he just barks the whole time and won't stop even when he loses his voice I even went to the vet and got special cleaner to get all the urine smell out where he has been peeing so he won't have the mind to pee there.Im at my wits end on what to do! PLEASE HELP!

Has he always done this?
If this is new, make an appointment at your vet to get his urine checked for infection - often times that is a sign they have an infection.

Borrow or buy an old used playpen, or use any sort of barrier around the couch/TV etc where you hang out, and keep him confined but near you when you are around the house. Keep the crate for sleeping near your bed, and for when no one is home (and do not give him a place to pee in his crate!) Dogs need consistency and routine. Let him out little by little as he learns.

He did before I got him neutered and he stopped for awhile but He has started up and is urinating more often now when Im at work or is sleeping so he will urinate in my room in living room and in the spare room. Its hard to keep an eye on him when Im the only one who takes care of him... but I will take him to vet to see if it's a UTI

Ill try but how do I keep him from barking all the time I live in a close neighborhood and they look down on pet's who are loud all the time. If I could get him not to bark all the time I would do this. But right now I have a belly band on him at all times.

Yes, please make sure it's nothing medical. You always should rule that out first.

You work, but are able to take him out 'every few hours?' Maybe he's not getting out enough? Maybe he's left alone too much? Chihuahuas and Yorkies are both dogs who get anxious.

He only urinates when Im at work at night and when Im sleeping when I get home... He was my moms dog and she would get up every few hours and take him out at night but sadly she passed away in January so now no one gets up with him anymore. I try to take him to work with me but if he can't stop urinating everywhere I can't take him :-(...

A confined area is the first step in housebreaking, with ever widening areas as he learns.
He's also probably still upset over the loss of your mother, as well as the change in his routine.
