Hi all,

I remember watching this movie when I was a kid, around 1990.

The plot involved a bunch of kids who were hanging out around a lake. There was a jetty heading out into the water, and the kids discussed a rumour that if you went out on it at midnight you would meet the devil.

There was also a big watermill by the side of the lake, and the water level kept rising and falling. At the end of the film this was revealed to be the work of a giant man, who pulled the plughole out of the lake thus draining all the water away.

I think if you've seen this you'd remember it - but does anyone know what it's called? I've literally spent the last 20 years trying to find out, no luck yet...

Amazingly it still held up in my eyes, a bit spooky too for a kids film... it brought back so many memories.

The only surprise was the ending, the giant man pulling out the plug was a figment of my imagination - or was he? Does anyone know whether there was an alternative ending to this film?
